Custom Attributes

• Introducing Custom Attributes

  • A new feature allows the creation of custom attributes with any theme, attribute name and options.

  • Custom attributes enable a more efficient shopping experience by providing pre-set frequent search keywords or inspiring keyword searches.

• Creating Custom Attributes in Settings

  • A ‘Custom Attributes’ sub-menu is added under the ‘Search’ menu in Settings.

  • In this sub-menu, users can create custom attributes, add options and translations.

  • Custom attribute searches operate as free-typing searches; therefore, filter interdependency does not apply.

• Impact on ‘Attributes’ Sub-menu in Settings

  • Custom attributes will be added to the Attribute list in the 'Attribute' sub-menu and tagged as 'CUSTOM'.

  • Users can add, arrange the order and control the visibility of custom attributes along with other attributes.

• Custom Attributes in InStore UI

  • For customers in InStore, the UI for custom attributes will be consistent with the appearance and functionality of other attributes.
