Here are the latest updates to InStore

HIGHLIGHTS OF THE RELEASE

Entry page & Primary attributes

  • Language and Country selection button is possible to change from start in the top right corner.

  • Pressing anywhere else on the screen or on the rounded Search button will trigger the search primary attributes drawer in the Entry page. Depending on the configurations in the InStore Admin Settings the primary attributes will be shown

  • NOTE: Primary attributes act as global filters so be cautious selecting them. For example ‘Gender’ attribute would make sense as a primary attribute. But selecting ‘Category’ as a primary attribute means that the search results will only result in styles within that category.

  • It is possible to have any number of attributes.

  • Once all primary attributes have been selected the Search Drawer will appear as well as Search results.

New Search Drawer

  • The old preference view where all attribute options were shown in a full screen view has been replaced with a new search drawer that appears at the top of the screen once the search icon has been clicked on

  • The user do not have to click on a “Search” button, instead every selection of an attribute option will trigger the search automatically and the next attribute (as defined in the Settings) will be selected

  • If there are too many attributes then it will be possible to scroll

  • The user can type any text search and press “Find” to add the term to list of search keywords

  • As soon as the user starts scrolling the Search drawer will disappear and the Rounded search button will appear

Dependent filters

  • Selecting an attribute option in the Entry page as well as in the Search Drawer will impact options of other attributes. For example choosing Men as Gender will hide Dresses from the options of Category.

  • The order that the user choses the attributes options impacts the dependent filter functionality.

OTHER IMPROVEMENTS

  • When Internet connection drops the user will be redirected to the entry page with a small notification that Internet is not available. It will not be possible to browse products. Once Internet connection is restored the application will instantly function as normal.

  • Device and Store information is shown in the Staff dashboard

BUG FIXES

  • Issue with tapping minus button in the basket forwarded the user to form page

  • When the style name is very long it used to appear on top of the minus button in the basket

  • It was possible to go to Checkout form even if there were not items in the basket

  • Special characters like emojis were previously allowed in the search input field

  • Missing translations of UI text

  • Some devices did not update to latest version when a new release was made
