Outfit Recommendations in Entry View via 'Use as Start Screen' Setting
You can now feature outfit recommendations directly on the Entry View by enabling the ‘Use as start screen’ option for a collection in Store Favorites.
Sales staff can create a collection of specific items or select one of the existing collections to display in the Entry View, then activate it using the Use as start screen checkbox located below the collection title.
When selected, that collection becomes the Start Screen content shown in Entry View.
Only one collection can be active at a time—selecting a new one will automatically deselect the previous.
To keep things intuitive for store staff, we’ve used the term Start screen in the UI instead of Entry View.
The selected collection appears on the Start screen under the title “DISCOVER YOUR OUTFITS HERE”, using the familiar layout from the How To Wear It module. It rotates alongside any other entry view media configured in InStore Admin.
Display Timing Details:
If the entry view media is a video, outfit recommendations will appear after the video finishes.
If the entry view media is an image, they will appear after 20 seconds.
Each outfit is shown for 5 seconds.
After 2 full rotations through all outfits, the entry media appears again.
Tapping any item in the recommendation takes users directly to its PDP.
Configuration in Admin
A new ‘Discover Your Outfits’ toggle has been added under the Entry View menu in Settings, in InStore Admin.
When enabled, sales staff will see the ‘Use as start screen’ checkbox in each collection within Store Favorites, allowing them to select which collection appears in the Entry View.
